Why I don't use newborn photography props.

Newborn photos without props just baby

I do not use newborn photography props because your baby is gorgeous as they are. They don't need anything to enhance them.

However, there is more to it.

If you're looking for a newborn photography session experience that is laid-back, stress-free, in the comfort of your home, and safe for both mom and baby, this is the right blog for you.

Photo sessions should be stress-free, and using newborn photography props can lead to more stress for mom and baby.

Of course, babies cry; however, they should not cry because they are uncomfortable for a photo. They cry because they are hungry or want to be held, not because they are in an awkward position waiting to be photographed. Both you and your baby should be as comfortable as possible and focused on the love for each other, not posing for the "perfect" shot.

My newborn photography approach is focused on capturing you beautifully in your own space. I use natural light and a variety of angles to enhance mom while highlighting your beautiful baby.

When you look at your baby's photographs gallery, I want you to remember those beautiful newborn days.

Family together with newborn baby and big sister

You should feel what it was like to have them curled up against your chest. You should be reminded of how tiny they were in your partner's arms or how big sister admired his little toes.

I want you to almost smell that newborn smell just by looking at your photos.

That is why I do not use newborn photography props.

It isn't about a "cute or adorable photo" but a collection of beautiful photographs that bring you back and make you FEEL something.

Having a newborn is a raw, emotional, sleepless, wonderfully challenging time. It goes by in a blink of an "I don't know what day today is" time. An in-home newborn photo session is about capturing that beautifully without stress or discomfort.

Simple and beautiful moments were captured of this newborn baby and his family.
