HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR APPROACH/STYLE?

I combine traditional and lifestyle photography and family portraits to capture authentic images for you to treasure for a lifetime. As your photographer, I will provide a gallery of images that can be displayed in your home as art pieces or archived in a custom album to be treasured for generations. These photographs will be an investment in your family. Images from your photography session often tell a story, capturing a particular moment in time. I will capture the beauty in your family, just the way you are.

Where do your sessions take place?

I am all for natural light, an on-location photographer. Together we will choose the perfect location for your photography session, whether at a park you love or at the beach. Newborn photography sessions are held at your home.

Where and what time are newborn sessions?

I like to do newborn sessions within the first four weeks of life, but most importantly, when you feel ready and comfortable. These usually take place in your home between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

How long are the photo sessions with you?

Family and maternity sessions last around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Newborn sessions could last from 1-2 hours.

What should I wear to my photoshoot?

See my blog post for tips on selecting what to wear to your photography session. Most important of all, wear what makes you feel happy and confident. When you dress true to yourself, you will feel and look comfortable.

WILL I GET MY DIGITAL PHOTOS AFTER THE SHOOT?

Photographs grow in value over time and become family treasures. I know the importance of archiving and saving digital images. I offer one simple, all-inclusive collection where you receive all the high-resolution digital files delivered via direct download and a print release. A minimum of 50 digital files will be available to you, both in colour and black and white. These images will be delivered within three weeks of your session. I do not complete heavy edits like slimming down an individual or removing birthmarks or tattoos, or replacing backgrounds.

How do you choose which images in my gallery from our shoot?

I look carefully at each image I capture at your photography session and hand-select the best photos. I am looking for images representing me as an artist and your family, as each family is unique. I guarantee a minimum of 50 shots.

How much does all of this cost?

My pricing is all-inclusive. You pay one price for ALL of the digital files. The total cost is $425 for newborn and family sessions and $250 for my petite maternity session *This is only available when booked together with a newborn session. A $175 non-refundable deposit is due when booking to secure your session date. *Price plus applicable taxes.

How do I pay and book a session?

After agreeing on a session date, the Client must sign a contract and pay a $175 non-refundable deposit to secure the session date. The remaining balance is due 3 days before the session date. Cancellations, rescheduling and other special requirements are disclosed in the contract. A travel fee of $50 applies to locations 80 km outside of Mississauga, Ontario.
